The Supply Chain and Procurement organization is a fast-paced and dynamic environment, delivering best-in-class communications equipment and solutions for customers around the world. We help Motorola Solutions implement digital strategies to improve our competitive position and support all other supply-chain functions in getting the processes and technology they need.
This position is within the Procurement Enablement group for the Analytics & Enablement team. The team is responsible for supporting the global business processes and technology platforms to ensure the Procurement team further supports the overall Motorola business goals and objectives.
Job Description
As a P2P Implementation Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end implementation of the Procure-to-Pay process within Motorola. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including procurement, finance, IT, and external vendors, to ensure a successful implementation of P2P systems, tools, and processes. Your role will involve project management, process design, system configuration, user training, and change management to drive efficiency, accuracy, and compliance in the procure-to-pay lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the implementation of P2P systems and processes, ensuring timely delivery, quality, and adherence to project goals and objectives.
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements, assess existing processes, and define future state P2P workflows.
Design and document P2P processes, including procurement, requisitioning, vendor management, purchasing, receiving, invoicing, and payment processes.
Configure P2P systems and tools, such as e-procurement platforms, vendor portals, and invoice automation systems, to align with business requirements.
Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT), system integration testing (SIT), and performance testing to validate P2P system functionality and performance.
Develop training materials and deliver training sessions to end-users on P2P processes, system usage, and best practices.
Collaborate with IT teams to resolve technical issues, troubleshoot system errors, and ensure data integrity and security.
Drive change management activities, including communication plans, stakeholder engagement, and user adoption strategies.
Monitor P2P system performance, analyze data, and generate reports to identify process bottlenecks, improve efficiency, and ensure compliance.
Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in the P2P space, and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
Preferred Skills:
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with stakeholders at various levels and influence change.
Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Proficiency in P2P systems and tools, such as ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle), e-procurement platforms, and invoice automation software.
Certifications in Procurement or Supply Chain Management (e.g., CSCP, CPIM, CPSM) are a plus.
Basic Requirements
Required Skills:
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Management, or Supply Chain
3+ years of proven experience in leading end-to-end P2P implementations, preferably in a large-scale organization.
Strong knowledge of P2P processes, best practices, and industry standards required
