We are establishing a team of Sourcing Operation Managers within the MELA (Market Area Europe and Latin America) Sourcing organization. In this role, you would enable proficient and cost-effective execution of the Sourcing Process through consolidation, standardization, and simplification in our ways of working, and delivering value and capability to the MELA Sourcing organization.
What you will do
- Receive, review, and process paper and PDF vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and procedures, and provide support to relevant Accounts Payable teams to ensure timely and accurate processing
- In close collaboration with the Procurement team participate in supplier-related activities related to supplier onboarding, maintenance, and contract administration.
- Ensure data quality through proactive engagements and overseeing compliance-related requirements.
- Facilitate supplier contract management by operating SCLM agreement creation and updates as requested by the Strategic Sourcing manager, feedback on status and findings to stakeholders, and monitoring the flow of requests according to work instructions.
- Process operational requests and services while identifying and managing non-conformities and exceptions.
- Drive improvements and efficiency by monitoring the execution of standard processes including the implementation of new procedures and guiding the team in their questions and concerns.
You will bring
- Bachelor's degree in Administrative, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in accounts payable or Sourcing experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting software such as SAP
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated proficiencies in a service-oriented environment.
- Excellent people skills
- Working ethically and able to maintain a high level of confidentiality
- Ability to react with appropriate levels of urgency to situations and events that require quick response or turnaround.
- Positive, flexible, and collaborative behavior.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
