Our client is a well-established MNC, market leader in the Water Treatment industry. They are looking for a Project Director assist their Engineering team for the next phrase of their business.
This Project Director would be responsible for :
- Managing the technical and commercial aspects to develop a comprehensive engineering package and obtain approval from customers and end-users within the scheduled timeframe.
- Ensuring that selected systems and equipment align with the contract, specifications, and performance requirements.
- Overseeing internal teams and external vendors to ensure timely project delivery.
- Managing and controlling internal labor costs allocated to projects.
- Understanding the technical specifications and commercial terms of contracts and effectively managing contracts and customer expectations.
- Proactively identifying and managing project risks.
- Overseeing the entire project lifecycle, from reviewing tenders to project completion and the defects liability period.
- Managing contracts to meet customer expectations.
- Any other adhoc duties required
Requirements
- Minimum degree in mechanical, electrical or chemical engineering or relevant studies
- Minimum 15 years related project management experience in water treatment, Petrochemical/ Chemical or similar project experience
- Registered Professional Engineer (PE) or Chartered Engineer is a bonus
