The task is to define and deliver multiple complex projects to agreed scope, time and budget constraints.
Responsibilities
- Coordinating resourcing and delivery with internal and external stakeholders for multiple projects running concurrently to meet the defined project constraints of scope, time and cost;
- Selecting the appropriate Project Life Cycle depending on the project type;
- Adapting the leadership style depending on whether an Agile or Plan Driven approach is to be taken;
- Taking a lead role in facilitating project workshops to gather project requirements and determining the project scope;
- Preparation of key Project Documents, including Project Charter, Project Schedule, Project Budget, Quality Documentation, Risks and Issues Logs;
- Delivering timely and accurate reporting on project status and timelines;
- Running project meetings and steering meetings, ensuring that the project plan, progress, issues and risks are clearly captured and communicated to all of the key stakeholders;
- Managing relationships with customers and the project team throughout the life cycle of the projects to ensure business needs and technical solutions are aligned and understood;
- Liaising with third party suppliers and partners;
- Managing and implementing system changes in line with stakeholder requirements, ensuring that quality requirements are met, and the project products are accepted by customers and operational teams;
- Formally close out projects and complete lessons learned.
Requirements
- Experience as an IT Project Manager for 3+ years;
- Strong understanding of project management techniques and methodologies;
- Knowledge of project management approaches including Plan Driven and Agile methodologies;
- An appreciation of the primary technical project management skills coupled with relationship building, communication and presentation skills;
- Ability to clearly articulate client requirements into project scope and deliverables;
- A strong appreciation of project planning, monitoring, controlling and reporting;
- Knowledge in creating and managing key project documents;
- Experience in risk and issue management;
- Knowledge in schedule creation and cost estimation;
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office;
- Working knowledge of JIRA;
- Proven experience in working with project teams and communicating with project stakeholders;
- Effective leadership with strong interpersonal communication skills and strong problem-solving abilities;
- Level of English – from Upper-Intermediate and above (both written and spoken).
Desired skills
- Qualification in PMI-PMP/ACP, Prince2, Scrum;
- Working knowledge of MS Project.
